Sound decisions can only be based on unbiased information. Therefore, the trust on the impartiality of the media is key towards an informed and flourishing society that can make the best decisions. Nevertheless, sometimes it is in the interest of the media itself to mislead the society which leads us to the topic of economic rationality and incentives, actually.
